This is akin to "We can steal your stuff anytime, but we didn't, so we're the good guys! Trust us! And give us the keys to your kingdom while you're at it!". If we cared about grandma’s secret recipe for the perfect Christmas casserole, we’d find no issue in obtaining it strictly from user-mode and then selling it to The Food Network. Ignoring the ridiculously big ego that the author has, statements like this are just insane: ![]() It's not a double standard, it's an opinion that has changed based on new facts. When I read that I had to restart my computer after finishing the installation I became sceptical and dove down a little anti-cheat intrusiveness rabbit hole and have since become more aware of the dangers that such anti-cheat systems pose. When I got the valorant news I was excited. And to be entirely honest, at the time I didn't care enough to check. ![]() I've played a few of them and honestly didn't know which (if any) anti-cheat system they were using and how intrusive they were. You're partly right, ignorance is bliss, but there are no double standards.
